The Airborne monument in Oosterbeek commemorates the Battle of Arnhem which lasted from 17 to 26 September 1944. The monument depicts, among other things, the freedom, the landing of the allied troops, the help Oosterbeek women offered to the wounded and the help of resistance fighters to allied soldiers during the Battle of Arnhem.
