Bilderberg Hotel De Keizerskroon is situated next to Paleis Het Loo and was personally owned by Queen Wilhelmina up until the 1960s. Tsar Peter the Great was one of the first ever guests. You will want for nothing in the 94 comfortable, spacious hotel rooms. The hotel has a cosy and intimate atmosphere and the entire ground floor, including the meeting rooms and the restaurant, has recently been fully renovated.

In the completely revamped Kingstreet Restaurant, you’re assured of an evening of culinary delights including unique and surprising dishes. At the request of numerous guests, the renowned Keizerskroon grills have been reinstated on the menu but tweaked to modern-day demands because you can now create your own dish. The Slow Food meals are wonderful dishes made from local products and in line with traditional preparation methods. All courses can be served with delicious paired wines in a cosy and welcoming ambiance. A thoroughly enjoyable evening is guaranteed at the revamped Kingstreet Restaurant.

In the Kingstreet Lounge you can enjoy a local lunch, a delicious cup of tea or coffee by the open fire, or the wines & bites concept in which local savoury snacks and nibbles are served with paired wines (large or small glass) in an informal setting.

After a short 3-minute walk past Paleis Het Loo you can be in the heart of the Kroondomein Het Loo royal estate, face to face with the local wildlife. The Het Loo royal estate comprises 10,500 hectares and is made up of the Paleispark (‘Palace Park’) and the Koninklijke Houtvesterij (‘Royal Forest’). The countryside is characterised by large expanses of woodland and heathland. The area, which has been linked to the House of Orange-Nassau for more than 300 years, has a rich cultural heritage, tremendous biodiversity and beautiful scenery. This makes the Het Loo royal estate unique, not only in the Veluwe region but also in the Netherlands. Meanwhile, the chic city centre of Apeldoorn is within walking distance, plus the region is perfect for walkers and cyclists.

If you’re looking for relaxation, you can head to the fourth floor of the hotel where you will find a sauna, gym, solarium, Turkish steam room and heated indoor swimming pool – which is one of a kind, since it offers a unique palace view!

Regal grandeur with an eye for detail, personal and intimate – those are the words that will spring to mind when you look back on your stay at Bilderberg Hotel De Keizerskroon. In other words, it’s a stay fit for a king!
