The honorary sabre that Major General Urquhart donated to the people of Gelderland in September 1984 is on display in the reception hall of the provincial government building. The engraving commemorates both the British and Polish forces during the Battle of Arnhem (September 1944) as well as the resistance and the helping residents of Gelderland.
