The Holocaust monument in front of the synagogue in Apeldoorn commemorates 592 Jews from Apeldoorn who were deported by the Germans between October 1941 and March 1943 and died in concentration camps. This monument was erected specifically for residents of Apeldoorn and staff of the Jewish psychiatric facility Apeldoornsche Bosch. Patients of the Apeldoornse Bosch were commemorated with the monument in the Prinsenpark.
