Arnhem’s newest Mexican restaurant opened right opposite the AKU fountain on Gele Rijders Plein on 26 October 2017. ‘Popocatepetl The Mexican’ is the place to go for bites to share, cocktails and Mexican food.
This modern Mexican eatery with its large conservatory is the latest hotspot in the heart of Arnhem for a late breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks.
Modern, welcoming ambiance
The Mexican restaurant in Arnhem is the largest Popocatepetl in the country, with a surface area of 600 square metres. Despite its size, the atmosphere is that of a welcoming ‘home from home’ with many unique eye-catching elements.
These include the horseshoes on the ‘good luck’ wall, wicker lampshades, dozens of plants and authentic Mexican bucket seats in different colours. The bar provides a view of the open kitchen and lets you see just how the tasty dishes are prepared.
