In the middle of the beautiful Ooijpolder, close to Persingen which is the smallest village in the Netherlands, there’s a new restaurant. It is charmingly situated under a windmill which was destroyed during World War II and rebuilt in 2015. At the beginning of 2016, the mill started milling flour again; flour which we use to make pancakes and other delicious foods. We offer a large à la carte menu and extensive lunch options.

We are located at the junction of the Pieterpad and various other cycling paths. Our large terrace with hill views over Beek and Germany is ideal for enjoying a cup of coffee with delicious apple pie, baked for us by people from Droom (with limited entry to the labour market). A bicycle charging station is available. The building also houses a museum and information centre. Discover information about the mill and its history, the war in this area close to the German border, the impact of high water on the Ooijpolder, and other points of interest.
