A stage of the city and for the city. The home of Toneelgroep Oostpool and Introdans. Stadstheater Arnhem is situated adjacent to the Lauwersgracht, on the outskirts of Arnhem’s shopping centre. A place with more than a hundred years of theatre tradition and where over 250 new memories are given shape each year. In the large Grote Zaal, you are seated in royal blue, whereas in the smaller Kleine Zaal, you can enjoy often experimental, daring and intimate performances. Theatre, cabaret, dance, performance art, show and physical theatre are all featured in the leading theatre in Arnhem.
Stadstheater Arnhem also hosts the premieres of Toneelgroep Oostpool and Introdans. We also work closely with other theatre partners in Arnhem, including the Posttheater, Generale Oost, ArtEZ University of the Arts and Keesen&Co.
