The museum exhibits a historical collection that illustrates the voluntary military use of civilians to protect the Netherlands. On display are uniforms, flags, weapons, vehicles, books and objects that belonged to the National Shooting Corps (1813-1907) and the Voluntary Landstorm Corps (1914-1940), the predecessors of the current National Reserve.
