This route passes a Liberation Route Europe location, the route that the Allies took when liberating Northern and Eastern Netherlands. One of the gateways of the liberation was in ‘s-Heerenberg and passed Zeddam. On top of the Paasbult in front of the centuries-old Torenmolen (Tower Mill) you will find listening spot 77, which tells you all about the fierce battle that took place around Zeddam.
